Help re Tiger cranefly - if poss?

The showery weather seems to suit the craneflies and if they're tigerish I've been putting 'Tiger cranefly Nephrotoma sp.' - which seemed to be the advice from previous years. With this one I wondered if the lack of proper teardrop on the back of the head, and the more rhomboid marks on the abdomen, made any difference? (Hope springs eternal!)

Agree with Nephrotoma. could really do with a side shot. Nephrotoma flavipalpis , which has the more orangy head, is a woodland mid-summer beasty according to my notes.

It was certainly hugging shade/ woodland, but mid-summer... SO hard to say these days!

Anyway, if I see it again I shall know what to do! ATB, Rhona
