Wasp / fly identification please
These were seen on the bank of the Thames at Moulsford on 14th July.


Some kind of crane fly?


This might be a wasp or ichneumon?

The cranefly looks like a Nephrotoma sp. possibly N. appendiculata or N. flavescens but don't hold me to that.
