Saw this 2 days ago in my small S. Hants back garden. Managed to get a few not v good photos. Am wondering if it is a digger wasp but have got no further.
Do have other photos I can upload if these are of help

Many thanks Jason. Is it possible to identify it further? Genus or even species? (I know that it is probably asking too much from photos though!) Two more photos in case...

Do you have any further photographs? As you say though, it's difficult photographically and impossible for a lot. |
