My husband found this when out with his macro lens in the garden. It's about 7mm long, has no legs and moves by rocking itself along. Have never seen anything like it. Any ideas please?

Looks like a soldier fly larva of some kind. |

Awesome, thanks I have seen soldier flies around the compost heap but had no idea what the larvae looked like. |
