Huge Grasshopper?
Hi,

This morning I was driving down a narrow country lane when I noticed a huge grasshopper like insect crawling up my windscreen. It was about 2ish inches long, bright green with big grasshopper type legs. It had disappeared by the time I could stop. Anyone know what it might have been? I live in Cornwall.

Great green bushcricket? definitely sounds like one of the bush crickets.

I’ve just googled for photos and I’d say the Great Green Bush Cricket is exactly what it was. Brilliant, mystery solved!
