Any help on which family he is would be much appreciated

Ooo these things are always climbing on your skin after after you have been outside in the sun or sitting on the grass. We call them 'lines' but have no idea what they are really, would love to find out.

Now's the time to find out! It's a Thrip, a rather annoying thing to keep tipping out your beating tray when working along hedgerows!
