Small flying insects would probably be the preferred prey, but Blue-tails will also hover in front of plants and pick insects like aphids off the stems so if you put plant stems with a few aphids on them in the vivarium that may do. |

| | | Re: Please help to ID damselfly larvae found in my fish tank Ive still got my sweep net from my university project so catching some live food shouldnt be a problem. Plenty of aphids too on the plum tree in the garden. Shame they only live a couple of weeks but hopefully i can keep them happy.

A local Dragonfly group would be interested to see them too, I'm sure.
