and another couple, insects this time that have me stumped, appreciate any help!
1/ Short wings, but I cant find it. 
2/ sawfly I think, not much detail in the poor shot, but sort of resembles a sirex spp maybe? Just thought it might click with someone.

Your steer looks close, possibly Leptopterna female as an alternative, but not quite right for colouring?
