Scarce Chaser?

Hello Everyone.

I took the attached 4 photos on the bank of the Grand Western Canal in Devon on the 26th June.
I think they are photos of a Scarce Chaser?
The only trouble is that accourding to my Dragonfly books the Scarce Chaser is ........well.......scarce.....and not found in Devon
So did the dragonfly move without telling the authors or are my identification skills just pants.

Yes, it is male Scarce Chaser for me too,it is known in Devon and has been expanding its range ,so some distribution maps are out of date.

If you put" Scarce Chasers,Devon" into your favourite search engine ,you'll see a number of sites.
