1. No idea
2. It's a bush-cricket nymph. Which makes it diffcult. If you took the photo very recently I'd hazard a guess at dark bush-cricket.

5. Male Leptopterna dolobrata

Evening Val,

The first has quite a 'mean', aggressive look to it. I first thought of Pompilidae/certain Sphecidae, but then on checking the important points I'm happy... I think, to now call it a Sawfly.

I really should have got the honey bee !!

Bob, I took the bush-cricket nymph on 16 June. According to my book, the only one out that early is Roesel's? Or maybe it's just that they're all a bit earlier this year?
