| | | Wasps! Hi everyone, ive noticed a wasp nest right next to the path where i walk the dog, at about head height in a bush. Its a narrow path with no way to avoid walking past it - is it safe to walk past them as long as i dont bother them?? |

| | | Re: Wasps! Ignore them and they ignore you
We have 3 nests in our small garden and no problems (yet ).When the missus hangs the washing out in the corner of the garden where they are a few come out fly around her to check her out (shes dodgy ) then go back about their buzziness
Welcome to WAB

| | | Re: Wasps! You shouldn't have any trouble just walking past. It would be as well to avoid brushing against the bush as you go past, though, in case that shakes the nest and agitates them. |

| | | Re: Wasps! I've got Tree wasps in my garden and I enjoy going and having a look at their building activities, I can put my face quite near and they take no notice. They look much smaller than the kind that attack you if you eat a jam sandwich in the garden.
