| | | Re: Help please...what are these?? Definitely not ants. They are really small flies, maybe 2 mm with wings approx 50% longer than their bodies. They just seem to hang around the windows and not do much. |

They will be small Barkflies, an Ectopsocus species. Harmless.

Are you 100% certain of this? I was concerned they are drain-flies.
And why would I have so many of these amassing around the inside of my windows? |
