This is the only photo I oculd get of this scary looking fly that landed on my car. It flew off when I got out the car, which may be just as well as it looks like it could bite me! Can anyone tell what it is just from the eyes? Thanks.

It felt like it was spying on me Anzu! The more I struggled to unravel my camera from a host of other things in the car, the more of a tangle I got into and by the time the camera was free, the wee beastie took the last laugh and flew off! | | |
