| | | unknwn bug on a cooking apple! I've never seen anything quite like this, if there weren't two of them I'd have said it looks like a caterpillar swallowing a beetle.

Iain | Harlequins only first turned up in the UK in 2004 so aren't in a lot of the field guides. Amazing how quickly they have colonised! I was disappointed that the most recent Chinery Insects of UK + western Europe (2007) didn't include them + Rosemary Beetles as they are the sort of insect Joe Public notices + want to know what they are! |
