Can anyone Identify this little creature. At first I thought it was a leaf hopper, but since looking at the photo I can't identify it with others on WAB.

It is one of the Tumbling Flower Beetles - family Mordellidae. Quite a few similar looking species, usually they need a good look under the scope to separate to species. |

All I can tell is genus Variimorda.

It looks like the only Variimorda that currently occurs in Britain is Variimorda villosa. So it's likely to be this species?

If Variimorda villosa is the only species occuring in the UK, than it surely is this one.
