Spotted this chap ambling along a footpath while out walking today. He wasn't in a rush, that's for sure! Couldn't help but lift him into the grass, out of the way of wayward walking boots!
No idea what he is and he's a 'first' too!

Just done a bit of reading up and I now think my 'he' was a 'she' looking to burrow into the footpath!
I'm still glad I moved it though, coz there were a few groups of DofE marching about who probably wouldn't have even noticed it!
