| | Mystery Bee for ID I've been umming and ahhing about this one for a couple of days now.
At first I thought it was a Bombus pascuorum - but it just doesn't look right! The legs look "bumblebee-like" but the thorax/abdomen don't. Any ideas?
Many thanks. Jane |

| | | Re: Mystery Bee for ID Hi Stuart. It was photographed at Cogdean Elms local nature reserve - which is an unimproved wildflower meadow right on the edge of Barrow Hill lowland heath in Corfe Mullen, Dorset.
It was the front legs that got me confused...
Only bee I could find with similar legs was Eucera sp. |
