possibly a ladybird for id please
Hi at first i thought this was an ageing ladybird with its colour fadeing it was a rather dullish brown/red but, on closer inspection the wing cases look rather odd. so is it a ladybird or not??.

Looks like a slightly damaged 7-spot Ladybird to me.
