Tachina species?

Good afternoon,

Ok, me and this large fly took turns chasing each other around my Norfolk garden today, it kept being interested in me when ever I snuck in close for a photo and to be honest big black hairy flies creep me out a little bit

Was around 2cm in size and at first I thought Tachina fera but all the T. fera pictures I found had red legs while this guy has black legs (even in sunlight). Also the orange patches down the sides didn't reach the tip of the abdomen like most of the pictures of T. fera I saw. The eyes also did not seem as red.

Can someone help me with an ID please, I have a lot more pics if needed!

A "Tachina fera lookalike" with all black legs, no dusting on the abdomen and a "black and orange" colour pattern make this one Nowickia ferox.

Could I have the record details for the Tachinid Recording Scheme database please.

I shall send the data, I just tried to find some information on it with no luck. Is it quite a common species? And is it widespread?
