Shining Pot Beetle??
I think I've i.d.' the above beetle on my small (@ 3ft) hazel tree, even seen mating - but - there are some very small black larvae also on there eating the leaves to skeletons. To my bad eyes they look like caterpillars but I could be wrong - HELP please.

Possibly sawfly larvae?. Pictures needed, but Pot Beetle larvae are usually found on the ground, not up on the leaves.

Resize to 1000 pixels on the longest side and upload to the Image Library(click Images on the top of the page)
