Beetle ID
This chap was in east blean woods, near Canterbury, Kent. About 1cm long.



Any ideas?

It's Clytra Quadripunctata. It's larvae live in ant's nests!

cheers. a bit of a google and it is in wood ants nests, which there are loads of in the woods.
