It's a Sphecid Wasp - more photos needed for genus, please! I don't have anything similar in my collection (=1 sub-marginal with pointed discoidal).

| | | Re: Hymenoptera for ID please I keep coming back to this one! It's always a lot easier with specimens - I think I interpreted the sub-marginals incorrectly given the angle of the wing. I think there may be three - and this could be a Psen species or similar on account of the constricted first gastral tergum.
I'd certainly be interested in other experienced views on this. |
