White/Yellow Ladybird Horizontal Stripes
I found several of these when I picked my blackcurrants yesterday (delicious!) but I don't think I've ever seen this pattern before. Any ideas anyone. NE Hampshire BTW.

It's not a ladybird but a Shieldbug nymph.

I'm fairly sure its a young (late instar) pied shieldbug (coincidence that I have the shieldbugs book to hand!). Smart looking little beasty.
