| | | Tree Wasp's nest When I first saw these tree wasps their nest was about 4 inches across now the nest is twice the size. At the bottom of one of the pictures is a 50 pence piece to help with the scale. If you look into the entrance you can see the grubs wiggling in their cells.

This is the same nest you posted before I believe, they work fast!

| | | Re: Tree Wasp's nest I have taken another couple of photos showing the wasp larvae inside the nest entrance. the entrance was much bigger today,whether this was because it was hot and humid or whether it was because the nest is bigger I don't know.
The larvae are in paper tubes and the white grub can be seen poking out of the bottom.
