| | | Another bee for ID! Hello all - I found this tiny solitary bee on my oxeye daisies earlier this morning, along with the usual Colletes sp. and Hylaeus communis - can anyone tell what it is from these views? I don't know if it's a key identification feature, but look at the large 'spurs' on the inside of its legs on the third pic! |

Janet | Yes, it was pretty small, Janet, perhaps around 6/7mm, so I tend to agree with you on A. bicolour. I think, from what I have read, that A. nigroaenea is too big and bulky-looking to be correct in this case. |
