| | | ID : Long-winged or Short-winged Conehead Morning,
I have uploaded a couple of images of a cricket nymph species found along the canal at Exminster Marshes in Devon yesterday. It is hard for me to decide if it is either a Long or a Short Winged Conehead. I favour Long-winged as the eyes are brown as in Evans & Edmondson but I suspect that is not a good feature to base an identification on so I would like to appeal for help with this one if possible.
Regards,
Andrew. |

| | | Re: ID : Long-winged or Short-winged Conehead It's a nymph, the definitive characters for full ID are not visible until it becomes and adult. |
