A I think is either Eristalis pertinax or E. arbustorum: 
B is Eristalis tenax: 
C is Merodon equestris: 
D not sure - Eristalis sp.? 
If someone could give me pointers where I'm wrong, I'd be very grateful.

| | | Re: More hoverflies for id please E. arbustorum for #1, there are two very similar species, E. interrupta which has a small square pterostigma and E. abusiva which has all pale mid tibia.
E. pertinax has yellow front and mid tarsi.
