| | | Insects from Brittany in France? Hi,
Am I allowed to posts pictures from Brittany in France for identification on this forum? My friend in Brittany and I have been swapping images by email and it would be really nice to know the identities of three French dragon/damselflies and one bee. He's also got a ladybird that looks to me like a harlequin but doesn't have the "M" on the top of the pronotum.
Best wishes,
Paul |

Use Worldwide Wildlife and Environment Forum - WAB's global sister-site.
Take care, Jason |

| | | Re: Insects from Brittany in France? Hi Paul,
I don't mind at all, but in the past some did as this is supposed to be for Britain's insects & invertebrates (those complaining never posted any insects!) I have a friend from Belgium who was posting here and she stopped posting after some complained of 'foreign' posts although there are many insects the same, my friend has mostly the same insects as I have. I have somewhere else now for my friend to post.
It had been said that posts could be made in another forum here, I think 'The Treehouse' but I never visit that forum as I'm only interested in this one (and time is limited) so I guess others are the same.
You can give it a try, you will probably get an email from admin 'gently' trying to persuade you to use the sister site Wild About The World (a link is at the bottom of Stuart's post in the Moths section). There's not so much activity there.
Janet

| | | Re: Insects from Brittany in France? I think you're more likely to get a reply on here to your ID;s as this site is much more active. I rarely visit WOTW despite having a lot of interest in foreign fauna/flora. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
