It's an Oedemera species (a beetle - note the palps).

It's a flower beetle Oedemeridae, probably Oedemera lurida.

Do you mean photographically?

Well, O. lurida is the most likely but really you need to get to the male genitalia.

If you saw a mating pair, I think it'd be fair to say you could separate O. lurida from O. virescens in the field?

The hind femurs are inflated in male virescens but basically not at all in lurida.
