A couple of moths
If anyone could help I would be grateful. The first one will probably be easy for those in the know, the second red one might be more difficult from that angle.

very wild stab in the dark as I'm new to moths.
I would say Silver-ground carpet and a skipper butterfly species.
But i'm probably wrong!

Thank you very much. I actually have a good picture of a Large Skipper from a different angle but did not recognise it. That shows how new I am to this.
