| | | Groundhopper, wasp and tiny beetle for ID These were at Chambers Farm Wood, Lincolnshire, on 3 June.
I think the groundhopper is Common (pronotum doesn't extend beyond abdomen):
The wasp was very slender and several were visiting buttercups. I've attached two angles, but neither are particularly good photographs:
The beetle was very small and was moving very quickly on damp sand at the edge of a pond:
All suggestions for ID appreciated! |

I had the same sawfly a few days ago, all I could find was it belonged to Cephidae. Mine was burying itself in a dandelion flower though, and it didn't open it's wings but I got some of the pattern from a side view when it bent it's body.

The beetle will be Bembidion illigeri...it does not look like it has pronotal hind angles.
