| | | unknown bright metallic green and red flying insect there were a few of these flying around today, move to fast to get a clear shot, land for a fraction of a second and move along the wall
they were bright green in the sun towards the head and then read at the tail end
the pics are poor quality but with luck some one knows what it is

though looking at arkive its supposed to be found in the south and not Yorkshire

| | | Re: unknown bright metallic green and red flying insect Just had a stroll around the garden and lo and behold, there's an insect just like yours! Really beautiful. I've noticed (a lot) of the work of leafcutter bees so maybe she's preying on those.
