Good morning,

Today I have this guy feeding on Bramble flowers on a woodland path near water in Norfolk, by measuring the flowers I estimated the size at 13mm from head to tail.

Forgive the photos! The first one I think shows its tongue, and the second hopefully the wing cells.

Looks to be a dark form of Bombus pascuorum at first glance.

Not with eyes like that..

Anthophora furcata is a good possibility, I have had one turn up and it's at least three years since I saw one, the only time I have seen it before.

I can't see a corbiculum on the hind leg and there does seem to be a scopa instead. This would put Anthophora furcata firmly in the frame
