| | 2 bees, 3 hoverflies, 1 ichneumon & 1 insect for ID Me again I'm afraid . I'm so grateful for all the help I've been recieving, I'm hopeful that I'll learn enough to be returning the favor to others very soon!
I've got a batch here taken over the past few days, some for ID confirmation and some I'm just plain stumped over. Thanks for looking!

| | | Re: 2 bees, 3 hoverflies, 1 ichneumon & 1 insect for ID #3 Eristalis sp. female but there's not enough showing to say a species.
#4 Eupeodes male, it could be E. corollae but you need to see if the spots reach the sides, if not it's E. luniger.
#5 Dasysyrphus venustus female if it has a black stripe down the centre of the face.
#6 Ichneumonoidea is as far as I would go.
#7 Mirid bug nymph Leptopterna sp. I think.
Janet

| | | Re: 2 bees, 3 hoverflies, 1 ichneumon & 1 insect for ID lol Janet, clearly I need to learn more about taking hoverfly photos to help make them more identifiable, I'll keep that in mind next time. Sadly these photos are the only angles that I have so will have to go with general species for these. Thank you!
Eucera, will pm you what details I have, thank you for ID'ing both my bees. |

| | | Re: 2 bees, 3 hoverflies, 1 ichneumon & 1 insect for ID ty Jason! I figured my photos wouldn't show enough with the hoverflies, I'll do better with the pics next time. Thanks for looking! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
