| | | Re: One small leaf beetle This is family Chrysomelidae and genus Phratora. Exact ID by photo only very difficult to impossible (but I don't know if there occur less species in the UK than on the continent  ).

I've just been looking at this. There is four Phratora in the UK.
P. vulgatissima...common on Willows
P. polaris...rare, found under stones among Dwarf Willow.
P. laticollis...common on Populars and Elm.
P. vitellinae...common on Willows and Populus.

Phratora vittelinae is the most common species of this genus. Unfortunately I can't see the characters on this photo, so maybe P. vittelinae, but not absolutely for sure.
