I did look carefully and wonder myself, but there is a black stripe visible down the front of the legs which suggests D. hyalipennis. I checked all the legs against several pics I have of one I know to be hyalipennis, at different angles it does show much the same leg colouring as in the pic here. From other angles you would think differently so I think the angle is giving a false impression of the leg colouring.

If you have any clues which would point to D. rufipes John I am more than happy to reassess that. It might be a good idea if I could upload the different angles I have of one fly to show what I mean, maybe later if it's really necessary, I have one shot which is about the same position amongst the many I took.
