Another bee for id please


Please could someone id this one for me. Perhaps it's another Osmia but it has an interesting surface texture to its head and thorax. It was foraging on some thrum true geraniums, which explains why it wasn't flat against the flower.

Morning Paul,

Yes, another Megachilid. It could be Megachile such as M. centuncularis - but there are similar-sized Osmia spp. that I don't think could be ruled-out without a close view of the tarsal claws.

Yes, it has an interesting punctate surface.

This one is a male Coelioxys. The multiple spines at the end of the abdomen are characteristic of males of the genus
