Two click beetles for confirmation/ID

Hi all,

just couple of click beetles (Elateridae) I've seen recently.

I'm fairly sure this can't be anything other than Agrypnus murinus although it was nowhere near the coast.



A fairly large beetle approx 15mm long. Photo from April 20th.

I'm not so confident with this one however. Found under bark on a fallen tree. Again fairly large c. 12 -14mm. It looked more bronze/green than shows in the picture.



I thought maybe Selatosomas aeneus which is supposed to a locally common species in this area (mid-Wales) but the description here (Selatosomus aeneus (Linnaeus, 1758) Elateridae of the British Isles ) says "legs are dark brown/black in colour" whereas this has orange/red legs.

Both ID's are right. Just the little correction: Agrypnus murina is the right spelling.
