Hi all,
As everyone else seems to be getting plenty of these this year, so am I now! I saw the first worker I think on 17th May, managed a half decent shot on the 18th and one with a brown thorax on 19th.
On 21st I was lucky to see a male which landed briefly on the Laurel which is in a great place to catch the evening sun and is out of the wind so I get a few good insects there. The last two days have been terribly dull and too windy, awaiting some decent weather again!
The plants they were on are Centaurea montana and Thalictrum aquilegifolium.
