ID : Mirid Bug species.

Morning,

I have attached an image of a bug seen on a grass seed head at Lydford in Devon last Thursday. I believe it could be either a female or a nymph of the Meadow Plantbug (Leptopterna dolobrata). Can anyone confirm or correct that assumption?

Morning Andrew,

I'd say it's a Leptopterna species, yes - but species-level isn't too easy with nymphs.

Thank you Jason for confirming it is of the Leptopterna species group, hopefully someone else might be able to comment but sadly I do not have a specimen to hand.
