Fly for identification please.


I have no idea what sort of fly this is. Any ideas?

Thank you. It looks right for Rhagio scolopacea although there may be others that are similar.

With mottled wings, it will be either Rhagio scolopaceus or the rarer R. strigosus. I'm not sure you can say for certain, from this photo.
