Well I think it is a Sawfly, it certainly went for a nip at the camera! Any clue on the species if possible from this?

Common sawfly Tenthredinidae has 6000 specie worldwide.Hope you have success ....

It is rather similar to some of the Tenthredo species but there isn't enough information from that photo angle to be certain. |
