Help pls re common red soldier beetle or not?
I'm wondering how much variation there is in colouring with Cantharis beetles? I can't make this one fit any exactly, but several almost! Thanks for any input!

Hi again Janet! That's answered my question then - that the colouring of antennae, pronotum, femurs, etc, are pretty variable in Cantharis rustica. Many thanks!
