1. Taken at College Lake BBOWT Reserve, near Tring on 14th May 2011
2. Taken at Cowley, Middlesex on 15th May 2011

All the Terellia tussilaginis i.ve seen pictures of, have red eyes. This one has bright green eyes. Don,t know if this is a variable feature though?

| | | Re: Are these both picture-winged flies? The suggestion was much appreciated. I didnt really have a clue where to start till you made the possible ID. You might be right. Maybe a fly expert might know if eye colour is a variable feature.
