I thought some of you might be interested to see this mating pair of 14-spot ladybirds. I was struck by the considerable difference in markings - the colour difference is is typical of this species in this area.

Interesting shot - both colour-forms for this species. I wonder what the subsequent offspring will be like?

And 'mine' are also mating at the moment. |
