Two more bees for ID please

Please could someone identitfy these two bees. The first, about the size of a honey bee, had been feeding on some Campanula portenschlagiana. The second, about half the size, is feeding on Erysimum bicolor. Interestingly, a lot of bees seem to like the Erysimum - I have a small shrub and there are often more than five bees feeding on it at once, not counting the hoverflies.

#1 is a male Megachile, and there are 3 spp in UK in which the fore tarsi are expanded like this. The commonest, by far, is M. willughbiella
#2 is a very faded and worn individual, and I would suggest that it may be an Osmia rufa male

Thanks eucera. The whitish bee was much smaller than an Osmia rufa, which was feeding on the same plant at the same time. The poor old thing was, as you say, very worn. I noticed his wings were tattered. Do old bees go grey?
