Small grey fly with striped abdomen

Just measured fly (based on sensor size):

Length ~5mm

...also I'm pretty sure this is a female and judging by the size of the abdomen she appears to be full of eggs.

Hi Bruce,

It looks like an Anthomyiidae female but that's about all I can say, leg and thorax bristles can sometimes be of help but female Anthomyiids are often too difficult. Having said that I have managed to get a few of mine identified with showing the essential parts.
