| | Ladybird - ID ? I noticed a lot of ladybirds in an area of vegetation and came across an Orange ladybird and I think a cream spot ladybird
However there was also a black one with 7 or more orange spots...
I do have a photo however it was windy and so the picture is rather blurry
any ideas what species it is? or could it be a melanic form of a certain species?

| | | Re: Ladybird - ID ? Afternoon Lindsay,
It could be a form of the Ten-spot, but a photo would be good!
Take care, Jason |

no.1 Halyzia sedecimguttata
no.2 Calvia quatuordecimguttata
no.3 Adalia decempunctata, as Paul confirmed
Regards
Klaas
