Two different Weevils - ID please

Literally thousands of these weevils this year, covering my apples, plums, hazels, walnut trees etc etc. They are about 4 to 5mm long. The trees are located in meadow land with only a 2 ft dia clear ground around each tree.

You go anywhere near the trees and they fall off to the ground.



This weevil is very much in smaller quantities, and is about 10mm long, but it is located with the other green weevils. They are very much more quicker at running and hide behind the branches when you get nearer. They play dead if caught.

I'm sorry I can't help to much at these weevils, but I'm not very much in this genus. They are both genus Phyllobius. The first might be P. virideaeris, but only maybe. The second I can't tell anything by the photo.
