2 is a Cryptocephalus sp + I'll put my neck on the line + speculate that 4 could be a Lasioglossum sp. |

Any takers on the bee? Obviously if it's impossible to ID from the angle given that's alright, just want to know if it's likely? |

Knowing the area/habitat and going by distribution i would be inclined to go with C. aureolus...but this is not certain.

| | | Re: More insects for ID - a variety Chris, thank you for looking. Unfortunately it never gave me a good look, in fact all of them were very busy burying noses in the flowers lol But having it narrowed down to 2 is brilliant, so thanks! |

| | | Re: More insects for ID - a variety eucera: That certainly looks like my bee, though I can't find much literature about it so I'll have to do some more research. Thank you for looking!
Klass, thank you again for looking at my photos, yes indeed I think your ID is closer to the mark and I'm happy to go with that one. Thank you! I'm afraid I don't know enough of the insect world to answer your question however, perhaps another would know more? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
